Mónica Cortés

Nace en Buenos Aires,Argentina en 1947.
Realiza su formación artística en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Visuales M.Belgrano y en la
Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes P.Pueyrredon
Completa su formación con estudios de posgrado en los talleres de Mabel Rubí ( dibujo y
grabado), Liliana Rosendorm ( tecnicas Textiles), Aida Bek ( cerámica y esmaltes), Ingebor
Ringer ( escultura), Mireya Baglietto ( creatividad), Héctor Medici ( pintura), Luis Felipe Noé (
Clinica de obra), Fabiana Barreda ( análisis y clínica de obra), Carla Rey ( libro de artista),
Graciela Buratti ( fotograbado), Natalia Giacchetta ( litografia)
Integra el grupo de artistas del Centro de Edición y de Instantes Gráficos
Desde 1967 desarrolla su actividad docente en instituciones públicas y privadas. El 1970 crea
MI TALLER donde desde entonces realiza una labor de Formación Artística dirigida a Niños,
Adolescentes y Adultos , así como grupos de Arteterapia como soporte de tratamientos
médicos
Participa regularmente de muestras, salones y convocatorias en el país y en el extranjero, así
como en ferias nacionales e internacionales

Nacional de Bellas Artes P.Pueyrredon as a nacional tepaches of drawing and
engraving.

She performed and perfectioned her postgraduate studies in the studio of Mabel Rubí
( drawing and graving), Liliana Rosendorm ( textile techniques), Aida Bek ( ceramics
and enamels), Ingebor Ringer ( sculpture),, MIREYA Baglietto ( creativity), Héctor
Medici ( painting), Luis Felipe Noé ( clinic, Art construction), Fabiana Barreda ( analisis
and Art construction clinic), Carla Rey ( artist book),  Natalia Giacchetta ( lithography).
Member of the group of artist of the Centro de Edicion y de Instantes Gráficos 
Since 1967 she develops her activity as a teacher in both , public and private
institucions, In 1970 she create  MI TALLER where since then, she performs the task of
giving an artistic education addressed to kids, adolescents, and adults.
She adds Art therapy groups to her works as complementary support to different
medical treatments.
She regulary participates in exhibitions, salons and with calls in the country and
abroad,as well as in National and Internationals Fairs
